Samburu Serena Lodge
Samburu Serena Lodge is situated on the banks of the Euaso Nyiro river, in the Samburu National Reserve. It is home to some of the wild game of the reserve.
It has 62 rooms and all of them have private verandas with uninterrupted views of the languid river and the wildlife. Crocodiles are also on sight. The rooms are en suite with shower.
There’s an outdoor pool with lounge chairs, tables, umbrellas and fresh towels. Here, you are also able to see the meandering UasoNyiro river while enjoying sumptuous international menus, buffets, barbeque and African cuisines.
A full service bar is open from 11.30am to 2.00pm and 5.45pm until late night. Fresh fruit juice, soft drinks, tea, coffee, cocktails, wines, spirits and liquers are served.
Guests can be treated to a private moonlight dinner(after arrangements) besides the river. After an early morning safari, they can also enjoy a bush breakfast with tables overlooking ‘The Crocodile point.’ Other activities include; bird walks through the lodge, lectures on the Samburu culture.
